Internationally recognized, the Toulouse-Occitanie School of Circus Arts (Ésacto’Lido) is one of three French schools authorized to issue the National Higher Professional Diploma of Circus Artist (DNSPac). Alongside higher education, it offers lifelong learning modules and develops a research programme on circus education and teaching.

The Ésacto’Lido is accredited by the Ministry of Culture, it has the QUALIOPI certification and delivers its courses as part of a partnership with the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. In terms of lifelong learning, it is awarded a public contract supported by the Regional Council of Occitania.

Strongly committed to the structuring of the regional circus arts sector, she participates in ongoing reflections on the Orientation Scheme for Circus Arts (SODAC) and collaborates in many European and international projects.

Association law 1901, the school is located district of Argoulets in Toulouse. It operates under a fixed 1,400 m2 marquee that it shares with the Municipal Center for Circus Arts, as well as in various places including La Grainerie. It has an administrative and technical team of 9 people and about twenty educational workers. Its annual budget (ref 2023) amounts to € 1,400,000.

It is supported by Toulouse Métropole, DRAC Occitanie, the City of Toulouse, the Occitanie Region and the Erasmus+ programme. It is a member of the French (FFEC) and European (FEDEC) circus schools federations.
